MFC, as it exists right now, is a single-user tool: one purchaser, their own devices, their own server — and it's live, working, and available to buy today.
MFC for Teams — multiple named employee accounts sharing one server, with role-based admin console, a shared calendar, group chat, a shift schedule, a ticket system, and group video calls — is further along than a roadmap slide: the admin console with three roles (admin/manager/member), a server-persisted team calendar, multi-channel group chat, a weekly shift schedule, an internal ticket system, and group video calls over a self-hosted LiveKit media relay (SFU) are built and tested end-to-end today. Email integration is still on the roadmap. Three roles — admin, manager, member — with different rights: admins invite, lock members, assign roles and manage the roster; managers can invite, maintain email addresses and manage the shift schedule, but can't assign roles or lock admins/managers; members just use the platform. Built and tested end-to-end.
CALENDAR

A server-side calendar every teammate on the account can see and edit — not local-device-only like the individual product's calendar. Built, tested, and running on the same admin-console login as team management. Unlocked by any purchased team license, including one bought through the self-serve checkout below.
CHAT

Multiple channels per team (like Slack/Discord), message history that persists — not just a live broadcast that vanishes when you're offline. Built and tested end-to-end, unlocked the same way as the calendar.
SCHEDULE

A week view for the whole team — admins and managers create, assign and edit shifts (who, when, note/role), every member sees the full plan. Built and tested end-to-end, unlocked the same way as the other built pieces.
VIDEO

One-on-one video calls already worked in the individual product. Group calls now run over a self-hosted LiveKit media relay (SFU) on your own server — every active team member joins the same permanent team call room, video tiles for everyone, mute/camera toggle per participant. Built and tested end-to-end with three real, simultaneous clients.
TICKETS

A lightweight internal ticket system — no separate Jira/Linear license needed. Anyone can file a ticket and comment on any ticket; admins/managers assign, set priority, and delete, while the creator or assignee can move their own ticket's status without waiting on an admin. Built and tested end-to-end, unlocked the same way as the other built pieces.
FINANCE
BUILTExpenses & invoices overview
A lightweight expenses/invoices overview, not a tax or bookkeeping system — no VAT calculation, no chart of accounts, no DATEV/Lexoffice/sevDesk replacement. Every member records and sees their own entries; admins/managers see everyone's, and only they edit, delete, or mark an invoice paid. Built and tested end-to-end, unlocked the same way as the other built pieces.
Not started. The plan is a self-hosted webmail client that connects to your company's EXISTING mailboxes — MFC will never run its own mail server or handle delivery for you.
NO SEPARATE LAPTOP NEEDED
The company phone you already issue doubles as a full workstation.
Most employers already hand out a company phone. The MFC Companion app turns that same phone — docked to a monitor, keyboard, and mouse (Samsung DeX or similar) — into a full desktop workstation running the MFC dashboard. That's a capability of the individual product, live today; every team seat inherits it automatically, no separate purchase or setup.
- In the office: dock the phone (or a tablet) and work at a full-size screen with a real keyboard and mouse.
- On the move: the identical MFC dashboard runs unchanged on the phone itself, or on a tablet/iPad in landscape.
- One license, one interface, wherever it's plugged in — nobody needs a second device just to get a seat.
One caveat, for accuracy: the very first pairing of a phone or tablet needs its camera to scan a QR code. Docked to a monitor without a camera pointed at anything, the same pairing screen offers a code+secret fallback instead.
